42 Beauty Questions

1)How many times do you wash your face daily?
Once, Twice.. maybe more, depends what Im doing!

2)What skin type do you have?

In the middle really?!, not dry, not oily! ..depends on the weather & what Ive been eating!

3)What is your current facial wash?
I wash my face with just water, unless Im in the bath/shower then I might be using Lush's Ocean Salt or something like that! & Sometimes a face wipe to freshen up! :)

4)Do you exfoliate?
Yes but probably not as often as I should, I get bored with tedious things like exfoliating/shaving etc! =/

5)What brand do you use?
St Ives Apricot Scrub, although I havent used it in ages! I use a lot of Lush products like Buffy, Ocean Salt & some of their soaps are good too!

6)What moisturiser do you use?
I dont use moisturiser very often unless my skin is feeling dry & tight (usually in bad weather) because it tends to break me out when I use it.

7)Do you have freckles?
Only in the summer but they are not very noticeable!

8)Do you use eye cream?
Not usually although a couple of months back I bought a Soap & Glory eye gel, it smelt nice but was nothing special.. its been collecting dust ever since! lol

9)Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
acne as in PROPPER acne or just people exagerating & calling regular spots acne? in either case - Nope! :)

10)Did you ever have to use Pro-Activ?
Isnt that a yoghurt?! lol ..no seriously!! lol

MAKE-UP

11)What foundation do you use?
I dont use foundation. I think the reason why I have always had pretty reasonable skin is down to the fact that I dont cake my face in pore clogging cheap or overpriced crap! :)

12)How about concealer?
I bought Mac Studio Sculpt a year ago, Ive only used it about half a dozen times!

13)Do you know your undertone colour?
No.

14)What do you think of fake eyelashes?
They look good on some people untill they start to do a 'Katie Price' with them! =/

15)Did you know you were supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yep & I do! I have quite sensitive eyes which water at the drop of a hat so using 'old' product that has be hoarding bacteria is a killer for me so I have to!

16)What brand of mascara do you use?

My last 3 were Mac, Benefit & NYX (which was pants!) but I havent worn any in over a month as my eyes have been quite watery recently! :(

17)Sephora or Mac?
I have never used Sephora so it has to be Mac!

18)Do you have a Mac Pro card?
Nope! ..do I need one?!

19)What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?
Brushes of course & my fingers when applying an eye base!

20)Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
I was using Lemonade by Benefit, I loved the quality of it & how it applied but my sensitve eyes didnt & watered everytime I wore it! :( - Now Im using a No7 one & its ok!

21)For the face?
Not usually but I was curious as to what difference it would make so I bought a cheapie from e.l.f for £6 - it smells abit weird but I love the texture & how smooth it leaves my face! :)

23)Do you use pencil or liquid liner?
I have a couple of Mac pencil eye liners but only really use them for when Im having a night out!

I also have a couple of liqiud liners but I feel they are too harsh for my natural look which I normally go for!

24)How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Its usually mascara that I poke my eye with!

25)What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
I have 10 of the e.l.f ones but to be honest I only really played around with them when I first bought them & havent really touched them since!

26)Do you use mineral makeup?
Actually.. the Q above.. I think the e.l.f shadows I have are actually Mineral not pigments?!

27)What is your favourite lipstick?
I dont wear lipstick alot, depends on where Im going & how I feel. I like the texture of my Mac slimline's more than my others though!

28)How about lipgloss?
I got a LE BarryM gloss one back in January & it was GoRgEoUs!! ..but thats all gone now! :( - My YSL one smells yummy & I love Macs Lustreglass in Instant Gold!

29)What is your favourite blush to use?
Macs Peachykeen

30)Do you buy your makeup on Ebay?
I have bought products in the past to re-sell on ebay & I sometimes kept the products that were sealed if I liked them!

31)Do you like drugstore makeup?
I 'll buy the odd lipgloss or eye crayon now & again, but its mainly nail varnishes that I buy from drugstores. My moto is 'buy cheap buy twice'..or more! lol & as my face/eyes can be sensitive to certain products I tend to keep to higher quality products if I can!

32)Do you go to CCO's (Cosmetic Company Outlets?)
I'd love to but the nearest one to me is York (which is quite a few miles away!) & I dont really have the time at the mo to take a full day out to shop! :(

but I hope to go in the summer holidays maybe!

33)Did you ever consider taking makeup classes?
No, make-up doesnt interest me in that way.

34)Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Depends if Im rushing or if I sneeze when applying mascara! grr thats soo annoying..my lashes touch my face then there is black smudges everywhere! lol

35)Name a makeup crime that you hate?
People wearing lipstick colours that are clearly not for them. Sarah was a good example of that, I think she was wearing Gosh Darling that someone sent her ..you could see the normal colour of the inside of her lips but where the lipstick was applied.. her lips looked so waxy it made her look dead! :/

36)Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick or eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
For the eyes I tend to stick with blues/purples/& silvers

& lipsticks.. I try to stick with colours that just enhance my own lip colour & sometimes with a hint of pale pink or brown - mainly natural for the lips!

37)Which celebrity always has great makeup?
I love Stephanie Pratts eye make-up - in the pics (or tv) I have seen of her she has had exagerated eyes in some way, be it bold eyeliner on lower lash/water line or lots of mascara & a smokey look with just a pretty natual face & lip. She's a pretty girl though so I think anything would suit her! :)

38)If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use?
Mac MSF in light medium or medium! (I have both!)

39)Could you leave the house without any makeup on?
Yeah, I do all the time! Theres more important things in life to worry about!

40)Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
I think I do look better when I have abit of eyeshadow/liner on - I think it brings out my blue eyes! ..but I dont really think about what I look like without any on, if anyone doesnt like it they can look the other way! =)

41)In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?
I know its a bit of a cliche but it has to be Mac for me! - Simply because I love the quality of their eye shadows & the MSF medium & light medium is an exact match for my tone! Ive never found anything even close! I dont buy lots of different brands because if I find something I like, I stay with it!

42)What do you think of makeup?

It would be great if it had never been invented because my bank balance would be way higher than what it is! lol

I dont depend on make-up at all, I can take it or leave it. I'll put it on if I have time but if I dont I dont even think about it! I always keep a lip balm or gloss with me because having dry lips drives me nuts especially if I havent got a gloss with me! grr hate that!

I also love my MSF because I think a shiney face is awful! - but I managed a year ago before I bought it so Im sure I could manage again if I had to! :)
